Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements efficiently during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items and increasing sales through suggestive selling techniques
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and check splitting
