In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging with children, providing homework help, and organizing fun and educational activities.
Location: Medinah Primary School 22w300 Sunnyside Rd, Medinah
Job Type: Part-Time, Monday through Friday, with flexible days
Hours: 3:15 PM-6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Monitoring: Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the after-school care program.
- Homework Help: Assist children with their homework assignments, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing updates on children's activities and any relevant information.
- Attendance Tracking: Keep accurate records of attendance and ensure that all children are accounted for during the program.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a similar capacity is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for children.
- Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
