We are a warm, family-run household in Durham, NC seeking a caring, dependable, and organized live-in nanny to join our family long-term. We have two young daughters, ages 2 and 6, and we also own and operate a local business.
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, approximately 9:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., with one full day off each week. Occasional evenings, overnights, or travel assistance with advance notice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide loving, attentive care to both children
- School/daycare drop-off and pick-up as needed
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks
- Support homework, reading, and educational activities
- Plan fun indoor and outdoor activities
- Handle bath time and bedtime routines
- Manage children's laundry and keep their rooms/play areas tidy
- Communicate daily with parents about routines and needs
- Travel with the family when needed (all expenses paid)
Requirements:
- Must be bilingual — fluent in English and Spanish
- Honest, trustworthy, patient, and nurturing
- Energetic, organized, and proactive
- Comfortable maintaining consistent routines
- Flexible with occasional schedule changes
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Background & Screening:
Our daughters are our most precious treasure, and their safety is our top priority. All candidates must pass an extensive background check as a condition of employment. As part of the application and screening process, we will also ask for your Facebook, Instagram, and any other social media profiles. Please be prepared to share these along with your application.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive pay: $800–$950/week, based on experience
