Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently managing transactions and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries or purchases.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively and replenished as needed.
- Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales.
- Assist in supervising store operations during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- You'd also be alternating between registers and bakery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
