Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units, which may include chillers, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, air handling systems, refrigeration and control systems.
- Able to respond to heavy workload of service calls in a professional manner.
- Communicates effectively with customers, regardless of their level of technical knowledge: can explain to customer the cause of their problem and the remedy; if problem has not been repaired, offers explanation of situation and recommended next steps.
- Able to follow and utilize troubleshooting guides to identify problems in a short period of time.
- Ensures customers’ questions/concerns have been addressed before leaving the work site.
- Demonstrates ability to determine priorities based on a call schedule, responding to inadvertent interruptions, carrying proper tools and material.
- Promptly and accurately completes all required paperwork.
- Keeps supervisor and dispatcher informed of new developments, changes.
- Completes service reports daily: obtains customer signature on all service reports.
- Keeps technical knowledge current regarding equipment and concepts.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider.
- Low Voltage License (a plus but not required)
- EPA Certificate
- VRF or DDC controls (a plus but not required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Meet all the job responsibilities and demonstrate working knowledge of commercial HVAC practices.
- Pre-employment drug screen required
Compensation:
- Compensation is from $64k annually for entry level technicians and much higher based on experience

Pay: $31.00 - $55.00 per hour
