American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and GE equipment proficiency for a weekend day shift position in Richmond, VA.

Located in the Radiology Department on the 1st floor of an acute care hospital in Richmond, VA
-
MRI unit staffed with 2 technologists on day shift and 2 on evening shift, with night shift on call
-
Equipment includes a GE 450W 1.5T MRI scanner
-
EMR system is Meditech with Centricity PACS
-
Procedures include brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac MRI scans
-
Saturday through Monday, 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
On-call schedule includes 2 weeknights per week (typically 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM) and 1 weekend call rotation per month

Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience, with active experience within the last 6 months

ARRT (MR) registration required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment required

VA state license required if applicable

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (candidates from Florida or Missouri must provide two references)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Experience with cardiac MRI scans is preferred

Navy scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
