Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Young Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and physical activity. Your enthusiasm will help children explore their world confidently while fostering a love for learning. Early Impressions is made up of 8 location across Jackson County. For this position we are hiring at our Northwest and Woodville locations. Schedule may vary but will include opening and/or closing shifts (6am, 6pm)
Responsibilities
- Support classroom instruction
- Ensure safety and well-being
- Support positive behavior and social-emotional development
- Document and report
- Communicate and collaborate with team members and families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or relevant college coursework in Early Childhood is preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working with children in a childcare or early childhood education setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
