Shift: Morning (7:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Pay Rate: $19.00
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Assemble sub-assemblies and sub-components
- Read blueprints
- Manage time to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously
- Build from verbal communication when prints are not available
- Use hand tools, crimpers, and ferrules
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Build quality product without specified time frame
- Follow SOPs
Qualifications
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment, assembly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting
- Experience in the proper use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrenches, crimpers, drills)
- Experience, understanding and knowledge of basic hardware (metric and standard)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate with all levels of co-workers to assure continuity in production
- Ability to read, write and speak English required
- Goal oriented and self-motivated with a stable employment history
- Familiar with Lean Six Sigma concepts preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
- Kneel, bend, twist
- Stand for up to 8 hours per day
