Job Summary
Materials Assistant will support the Materials Manager in daily operations and supply chain management. This role includes inventory review and tracking, stocking, and ordering. Day to day activity will include facility walk-throughs, supply stocking and rotation, as well as ordering and administrative work.
Duties
- Assist with inventory management using ENVI software.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves, replenishing supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct data entry tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on distribution tasks and provide excellent customer service to internal departments or external partners.
- Support shipping logistics by preparing shipments, verifying orders, and coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
- Standing, walking, and lifting required. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
- Prior experience working with materials/supply management is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management software.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Strong data entry skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills combined with a proactive attitude to support efficient workflows

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
