Overview
Upscale cafe in downtown San Mateo is looking for one runner / busser to assist with FOH duties.
Duties
- Work efficiently
- Be neat and tidy
- Assist customers with menu questions
- Must be friendly and stay busy
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in upscale restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while maintaining good posture.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, bussing, and food running duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Any espresso making skills will be useful
Pay: $20.00 per hour
