The Sales Operations Coordinator supports the operational and analytical functions of the sales organization, including account management, forecasting, pricing, order management, and process improvement. This role serves as a key liaison among customers, the U.S. sales team, and headquarters in Japan and requires strong independent judgment and Japanese-English business communication skills.

Manage customer accounts, purchase orders, invoices, order changes, cancellations, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Build relationships with key accounts and support achievement of sales targets.

Analyze competitor pricing, market positioning, forecasts, and sales trends.

Manage equipment/tool forecasts, customer samples, inventory levels, and purchase orders.

Coordinate EOL status, parts pricing, RMA requests, complaints, and failure-analysis cases.

Review customer agreements and recommend revisions or terms.

Coordinate customer audit, environmental, security, and other due-diligence requests.

Prepare reports, forecasts, presentations, and business recommendations for management.

Translate business correspondence and presentation materials between Japanese and English.

Identify and implement sales operations and process improvements.

Coordinate cross-functional activities with internal teams and headquarters in Japan.

Support sales team scheduling and travel arrangements.
Required:

Professional Japanese and English proficiency required for communication with customers and headquarters in Japan.

Minimum 5 years of similar professional experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent; relevant experience may substitute.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems.

Ability to travel frequently by air and car.
