Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, literacy education, math, physical education, and other core subjects tailored to young children’s needs.
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a nurturing environment that promotes social-emotional growth, behavior management, and childhood development instruction.
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns related to child welfare or behavior management.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health & safety regulations by maintaining accurate records
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management strategies to promote a respectful learning atmosphere.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children across various age groups within daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education standards, and preschool teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and documenting student progress accurately.
