Duties
- Prepare a variety of pizzas and accompanying dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Manage food handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during high-volume production periods
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary aide roles or dietary department settings is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen environment
- Background in pizza restaurant environments that demand attention to detail and recipe adherence
- Experience with food industry standards related to food handling, catering, and large-scale food production
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
