Join our dynamic team at SuttoCo Ltd Co!!! We are currently seeking a reliable, professional lawn-care service provider to perform recurring weekly lawn maintenance at a client property.
The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the lawn and surrounding exterior areas in a clean, neat, and presentable condition while completing all services according to the agreed service schedule and SuttoCo's quality standards.
This is a contract-only service position. The selected provider will operate as an independent contractor and will be responsible for providing the labor, equipment, transportation, fuel, and supplies necessary to complete the contracted services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Primary Responsibilities
The contracted lawn-care provider will perform the following services on a weekly basis:
- Mowing — Mow designated lawn areas to maintain a consistent, neat appearance.
- Trimming — Trim around trees, fences, buildings, landscaping, posts, and other areas inaccessible to the mower.
- Edging — Edge sidewalks, driveways, curbs, walkways, and other designated hard surfaces as needed to maintain clean lines.
- Blowing — Blow grass clippings and lawn debris from sidewalks, driveways, walkways, patios, and other affected areas.
- Debris & Trash Removal — Remove ordinary lawn debris and loose trash encountered within the designated service areas and leave the property clean and presentable.
- General Property Appearance — Identify obvious lawn-care concerns and communicate any issues that may require additional service or client approval.
Service Standards
The contractor is expected to:
- Arrive according to the agreed weekly service schedule.
- Complete all contracted services during each visit.
- Perform work in a professional and workmanlike manner.
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance while servicing the property.
- Take reasonable care to avoid damage to the client's property, landscaping, vehicles, structures, irrigation systems, and other belongings.
- Remove or properly manage grass clippings and service-related debris.
- Notify SuttoCo promptly of weather-related delays, equipment problems, property damage, or other circumstances affecting service.
- Communicate promptly regarding any condition that prevents the contracted work from being completed.
- Maintain the equipment necessary to perform the contracted services.
Contractor Responsibilities
The independent contractor will be responsible for:
- Lawn-care equipment and tools.
- Transportation to and from the property.
- Fuel and ordinary operating expenses.
- Routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Personal/business insurance as required by the contractor's business and applicable law.
- Applicable taxes and business expenses associated with the contractor's compensation.
- Performing the contracted services in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements.
Quality & Communication
SuttoCo's goal is to provide clients with dependable, professional property-care service. Reliability and communication are therefore essential.
The contractor should notify SuttoCo as soon as reasonably possible if they are unable to complete a scheduled service. Repeated missed visits, poor workmanship, failure to communicate, or failure to maintain the agreed service standards may result in termination of the service agreement.
Compensation
Compensation will be established under a separate Independent Contractor Service Agreement between SuttoCo and the selected provider.
The contractor's compensation will be based on the agreed scope of work and service frequency. Any additional services outside the contracted scope must receive prior approval from SuttoCo before being performed or billed.
Required Qualifications
Preferred providers should have:
- Previous lawn-care or landscaping experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Commercial-grade lawn-care equipment appropriate for the property.
- The ability to perform physical outdoor work.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable communication.
- A professional and dependable work ethic.
- The ability to consistently meet the agreed service schedule.
Important
This opportunity is for an independent contractor/service provider, not a traditional employee position. The contractor will be engaged to provide specific lawn-care services under a separate written service agreement.
Interested providers should be prepared to provide basic information about their lawn-care experience, equipment, availability, service area, and proposed pricing.
SuttoCo reserves the right to select the service provider it determines best meets the client's service and quality requirements.
