We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Finisher / Painter who takes pride in producing flawless, high-end finishes. This position is ideal for someone who understands that exceptional painting is more than applying color—it’s about preparation, precision, consistency, and knowing when the finish is truly right.
You’ll work with custom cabinetry, millwork, and high-end residential projects where quality and attention to detail are paramount.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Prepare raw wood, MDF, and previously finished surfaces for professional coatings
- Sand, fill, prime, seal, and prepare surfaces to a high standard
- Spray and finish cabinet doors, drawer fronts, panels, trim, and millwork
- Apply primers, paints, lacquers, and other professional finishing products
- Achieve smooth, consistent, factory-quality finishes
- Identify and correct imperfections before and after finishing
- Perform detailed sanding and surface preparation between coats
- Maintain proper spray techniques, film thickness, and coverage
- Clean and maintain spray equipment and finishing areas
- Safely handle finishing materials and maintain proper shop practices
- Inspect finished pieces for consistency, quality, and defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional finishing environment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who sees the details others miss.
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience painting, spraying, or finishing cabinets, millwork, furniture, or high-end residential work
- Has experience with HVLP, air-assisted airless, or similar spray equipment
- Understands proper surface preparation and sanding techniques
- Has a strong eye for color, sheen, texture, and consistency
- Takes pride in producing exceptionally clean finishes
- Is patient and detail-oriented
- Can identify imperfections and understands how to correct them
- Works efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Takes safety and cleanliness seriously
- Is dependable, professional, and eager to improve their craft
