We are looking for a dependable Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our Production team. This position is responsible for assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying parts and quantities, preparing orders for shipment, maintaining records, and supporting warehouse and production operations as needed.

Full-Time Day Shift Position: Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. may be required based on business needs.
Employees may be scheduled for additional overtime or extra shifts, as needed.
Starting at $16.00 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring all orders are complete, accurate, and prepared for shipment in accordance with customer and company requirements.
- Verify correct parts, quantities, labeling, and documentation for all outgoing shipments, including required warning labels and customer-specific tags.
- Pack, label, and prepare boxes, cartons, pallets, and other shipping containers for domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinate freight arrangements and transportation logistics according to sales order instructions.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and backorder records, including logs, charts, and related documentation.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify received quantities, and distribute materials to the appropriate departments.
- Review sales orders and production schedules to establish shipping priorities and meet delivery deadlines.
- Assist in coordinating shipping activities and supporting team members involved in order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
- Order, stock, and maintain shipping and receiving supplies.
- Provide occasional backup support to production or other departments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; perform minor equipment maintenance and report repair needs.
- Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred.
- Works well as a productive member of a team with the ability to clearly communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and/or customers to deliver instructions and/or report problems.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to read and understand instructions, work orders, memos, etc.
- Able to perform basic math functions such as add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers, including fractions, decimals, and units of measure (standard and metric).
- Understanding of basic tools and measuring devices (tape measure, scale, etc.) used in manufacturing. Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Quality-minded with a strong attention to detail and consistency; organized and committed to follow-through on assignments.
- Able to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems.
- Able and willing to learn new processes or procedures.
- Broad range of computer skills preferred: Microsoft Office suite, or related software; inventory/database software (i.e. Sage 100, Business Works), other Company software programs, Internet and shipping software, such as UPS/FedEx.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks. Able to move about the warehouse/office to access parts and inventory, office equipment, etc.
- Full range of body motion, including handling and regularly lifting/moving products weighing 10 to 50 pounds; occasional heavy lifting up to 100 pounds; positions self to measure items on the shop floor.
- Must have manual dexterity to assemble products, boxes, or use tools/machines as directed.
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Requires vision and hearing corrected within normal range; ability to differentiate between colored hose and components; ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
