What you’ll do on a typical day:
The primary role of a Recruitment Coordinator is to support all recruiting efforts in Northwestern Mutual Network Office in Downers Grove. This role involves functions that allow the recruiting team to efficiently attract, recruit, select and contract financial representatives.
· Office reporting, includes but not limited to recruiting activity reports, recruiting trends, recruiting ratios, providing information on trends, maintain updated hot list
· Ownership and management of NM Talent
· Candidate sourcing: oversee all scheduling for initial and in-depth interviews, assist with taking candidates through the process, update recruiting data base, follow up with candidates after meetings
· Recruitment process support using available data to analyze and improve recruitment process
· Support recruiting events – collecting data and information for monthly Team Gold and Leadership meetings, Alignment Days, recruiting skillset building meetings, provide updates for guests of Team Gold, invite candidates to upcoming firm events
· Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools, and guiding candidates through the selection process
· Maintain integrity and consistency of the selection process
· Manage the transition of candidates offered a contract to local leaders and Network office leadership
· Guide leadership team in developing specific recruiting strategies and activities necessary to reach recruiting goals
· Prepare activity & results for leadership meetings, analyze ratios to identify inefficiencies; establish and implement improvements
· Reports to Director of Recruitment

What it takes to succeed in this role:
· Bachelor's degree preferred
· One to three years progressively responsible work experience, preferably in sales, recruiting or financial services industry
· Excellent communication skills required
· Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
· Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions
· Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective
