American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a CCU float pool position requiring a compact RN license, EPIC experience, and 2 years of critical care experience.

Hospital-based CCU position with float pool responsibilities
-
Float pool assignment covering CCU, MS/tele units, and Rehab as needed
-
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-7:30)
-
Every other weekend (EOW) work required
-
Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Uses EPIC EMR system
-
May involve care for COVID-positive patients
-
Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
-
Active RN license (Compact or PA required)
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
-
1+ year of charge nurse experience preferred
-
EPIC charting experience required
-
Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
-
Experience managing dysrhythmias
-
IV therapy proficiency
-
Arterial line management experience
-
Central line care and management skills
-
Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
-
BiPAP/CPAP management experience
-
Care of ventilated patients
-
Suctioning skills (ETT, NT)
-
Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
-
Provide critical care nursing services across CCU, MS/tele, and Rehab units as census needs dictate
-
Manage cardiac and vasoactive drip therapies for critically ill patients
-
Deliver respiratory and thoracic care including ventilator management
-
Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
-
Candidates living within a 50-mile radius are considered local and may be offered a lower rate
