Job Overview
The House Supervisor Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a residential care facility, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for residents. This position requires a compassionate leader who can effectively manage staff, coordinate care plans, and maintain compliance with regulations while fostering a sense of community among residents. Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the facility, ensuring adherence to care standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, addressing concerns and promoting open communication.
- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate services for residents, including medical appointments and therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate records related to resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Manage budgetary considerations related to facility operations while ensuring quality care.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and long-term care experience is preferred.
- Strong management skills with a focus on leadership and team supervision.
- Background in social work or nursing is advantageous.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial acumen to manage facility resources effectively.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and compliance requirements.
- Experience in home & community care or group home settings is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
