Videographer / Multimedia Content Producer
American View Productions (AVP) is seeking a creative, dependable multimedia professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys telling compelling stories through video and photography while working on a wide variety of projects for nonprofit organizations, businesses, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and commercial clients throughout Connecticut, primarily in the greater Bridgeport area, and the surrounding region.
Responsibilities
- Produce professional-quality video and photography on location and in studio settings.
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos for marketing, fundraising, corporate communications, documentaries, promotional campaigns, and social media.
- Operate professional cameras, lighting, audio, and support equipment.
- Edit projects using Adobe Premiere Pro while managing post-production workflows from ingest through final delivery.
- Capture and edit photography for marketing, events, construction progress, corporate communications, and publications.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project goals, schedules, and creative direction.
- Travel to client locations throughout Connecticut and occasionally neighboring states.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files and backups.
- Assist with creative planning, scripting, and production logistics when needed.
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is required or willingness to obtain within a reasonable time of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with professional video production and photography.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and editing experience.
- Experience with DSLR, mirrorless, or cinema camera systems.
- Understanding of lighting, audio recording, and composition.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small collaborative team.
- Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom experience is a plus.
- Experience with AI video creation tools.
