Global Shop Solutions Customer Care Representatives serve as the first interaction with customers on new tickets that come through the Service Department. These representatives are responsible for ticket creation and accuracy, initial investigation on the issue or question at hand, gathering the necessary files including relevant data/logging/screenshots and routing the call to the proper location for further examination, assuming the initial call could not be resolved in an appropriate amount of time. Each day consists of analyzing data, evaluating processes and problem-solving. Call examples would include anything involving, but not limited to Shop Floor Control, Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC), Inventory, Estimating/Routers, Bill of Materials, Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) and Inventory Accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or relevant degree and/or equivalent work experience
- Prior ERP or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience in providing professional and courteous customer service
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Intermediate MS Excel and Access skills
- Knowledge and/or experience with quote to cash process a plus
- Experience in database structures and SQL a plus
- Great communication skills
- Outstanding follow-up ability
- Patience and passion for working with people
- Enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving scenarios
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task
