Assistant Director Hours:
- School Year — 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 11:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
- Summer — 7:00 AM - 12:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging activities and group games
- Encourage learning through creative projects and play-based experiences
- Assist with snack distribution and smooth transitions between activities
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-supervised environment
- Prepare activity spaces and handle end-of-day cleanup
Ideal Candidates Will Have
- Child/Education related Bachelor's Degree.
- Ability to help coach and train staff
- Ability to provide a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate afterschool program
- Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices in afterschool settings
- Ability to handle difficult children and parents
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with parents and school personnel
- Computer literacy with experience using Google applications
Pay: $16.75 - $20.25 per hour
