Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique abilities and goals.
- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development, learning technology, literacy, math, and social skills.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with autism, deaf education requirements, visual impairments, or other disabilities.
- Collaborate with related service providers to support comprehensive student development.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and behavioral health strategies.
- Monitor student progress through assessments, standardized testing, and ongoing observations; adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student achievements and challenges; ensure compliance with all educational regulations and IEP requirements.
Skills
- Experience working with children in preschool or elementary settings within special education environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early intervention.
- Experience with instructional design for diverse learners.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and assistive devices for students with disabilities.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math instruction, and other IEP.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment for students with varying needs.

Pay: From $52,500.00 per year
