Job Overview:
We are a small family diner located in Valley City (Medina County). We are looking to hire a full time cook with experience. Must be able to flip eggs and omelettes in a pan. Pay depends on experience. We offer pay incentives. Must be reliable. Our hours are 7am-2pm. We take our last order at 1:30 so everyone can clean up and leave by 2:00pm. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
- Assist with meal planning and menu development
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant, catering, or food service setting
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
