Day-to-day responsibilities:

Troubleshoots and repairs aircraft systems, engine, electrical and avionics malfunctions

Completes logbooks, non-routine work cards and documents in accordance with General Maintenance Manual

Ensure all steps of a maintenance action and inspection are properly completed prior to
signing compliance on the applicable documentation.

Reports to shift lead mechanic or supervisor for work and shift assignments

Conduct other duties as assigned

Must be able to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair and Wiring

Must be able to use Diagrams System Schematics, and use ATA codes

Must have own tools
-
Must be computer literate

Must be able to work flexible hours, shifts and days off

Must be willing to workdays, nights and holidays and overtime as requested

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship

Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, and FBI Fingerprint & 10 Year Criminal Background Check

Must own a current U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable visas
Required Education and Experience:
-
A & P License required
-
Minimum two (2) years’ experience maintaining DHC-6 required or equivalent other aircraft experience.

Avionics and/or structures experience preferred
