Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Per diem Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert occupational therapy services across to home bound patients. Your primary focus will be on enhancing patient independence and quality of life through personalized therapy plans. This position offers the opportunity to work on a per diem basis, allowing you to contribute your skills where needed most while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals of all ages with diverse needs, from pediatrics to geriatrics, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique circumstances.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized care plans to improve daily living activities and motor skills
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility training
- Utilize simple charting safter each visit.
- Implement therapeutic interventions for individuals with autism, disabilities, or post-acute conditions in inpatient, outpatient, or school environments
- Conduct case management activities including progress documentation, goal setting, and adjusting treatment strategies as needed
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment usage
- Support early intervention programs and occupational health initiatives by delivering targeted therapies in various community settings
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist with current registration
- Experience with inpatient or outpatient clients
- Ability To travel to patients home in your region

Pay: $67.74 - $74.27 per hour
