*Job Overview*
We are seeking a full time Hook Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting roll-off containers from one location to another in a safe and timely manner. This involves going to landfill to empty containers. We can use drivers with a CDL as well as just an operator‘s license for non-CDL required trucks as well.
We are seeking someone to work 50 hours a week or more. Mon-Sat.
*Duties*
- Operate and drive hook lift truck to transport roll off dumpster/container
- Follow safety procedures and traffic laws while driving
- Open and close dumpster/container door
- Delivery routes are planned for you
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before and after trips
- Record on landfill tickets where container was picked up from
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers
*Experience*
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
-21+ Age
-Good at using your smart phone
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation
- Previous experience as a courier, van driver, or delivery driver is a plus
- Capability to handle some lifting when loading and unloading a container/dumpster
Pay: From $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 60.0 per week
