American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and active DC RN licensure for a 13-week travel assignment.

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Cerner EMR experience required

13-week contract

Active RN license in DC required (no pending licenses)

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI

BSN highly desired; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required

Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Active US Social Security Number required for consideration

Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Date of birth required for consideration

Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation completed within established timeframes

Delivers age-appropriate care across the life span by applying knowledge of growth and development

Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
