Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the clinical research industry, focusing on enterprise clients and key accounts.
- Lead outside sales efforts by identifying new business opportunities, conducting client outreach, and building lasting relationships with decision-makers at top-tier research organizations.
- Manage a high-performing sales team by providing coaching, training, and guidance on best practices in sales management systems such as Salesforce CRM and analytics tools.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to craft targeted campaigns that highlight our innovative SaaS (Software as a Service) products for clinical research management.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
- Utilize sales analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance metrics, forecast sales trends, and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with product development, customer support, and technical teams to align client needs with our service offerings.
- Lead business development initiatives by exploring new markets, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence within the healthcare technology landscape.
Skills
- Proven success in outside sales, B2B sales, and enterprise selling within a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Strong management skills with experience leading sales teams or managing sales strategy development teams.
- Expertise in technical sales experience related to SaaS products for clinical research or healthcare technology solutions.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Cloud, CRM systems, sales management platforms, and analytics/reporting tools.
- Excellent customer relationship building skills combined with negotiation expertise to close high-value deals effectively.
- Business development management experience with a focus on expanding market share through strategic outreach and account management.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets using analysis skills to inform decision-making and optimize sales performance.
- Leadership qualities that inspire team development, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive achievement of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication skills for engaging clients at all levels—including executive leadership—and delivering compelling presentations.
