We are seeking a full-time (part time considered) chairside Dental Assistant (wiling to traini the right person with a love for dentistry and trying to get into the field) to join our successful private practice in a modern, progressive New Hampshire Seacoast general dental practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant to continue honing their skills or for a new assisting graduate to learn in our growing practice. We are looking for the right person who is interested in pursuing a dental career and finding their forever dental home, someone who has the capacity to learn on the job in a fast-paced environment. Must be radiology certified in NH.

· We are a busy office with ample new patient flow and a busy clinic.
· We are utilizing Dentrix software, digital radiography, and electronic records and have a great team providing comprehensive quality care to our patients of all ages.
· The other Chairside Dental Assistants in the office are available to mentor a young graduate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
· Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials as needed
· Educate patients on oral health
· Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
· Manage infection control and keeping treatment room clean and well-stocked
· Schedule appointments and discuss treatment plans for upcoming procedures/visits
· Maintain accurate patient clinical notes and records
· Possess knowledge of dental terminology and comply with OSHA and HIPAA regulations

QUALIFICATIONS
· NH Radiology Certification & DANB Test Passed
Compensation is based on experience. Office hours are MWF 8:00-5:00 and TT 8:00-6:00.
