Join our dynamic culinary team as a Part-Time Cashier / Front of House Team Member! Philly Guys is a Houston-based pop-up specializing in authentic Philly cheesesteaks, fries, and house-made lemonade. We're looking for energetic team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in serving great food and providing excellent customer service. Whether you're passionate about cooking, enjoy working with food safety standards, or have experience in the food industry, this role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tasty impact.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take orders
- Operate Square POS system
- Process cash and card transactions
- Answer menu questions and make recommendation
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area
- Help with event setup and breakdown
- Ensure guests receive accurate orders and excellent service
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience
- Support kitchen team members with food preparation tasks and maintain an organized workspace
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients
Required Qualifications
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods during events
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Must be dependable and punctual
Preferred
- Previous cashier, retail, restaurant, or customer service experience
- Experience handling cash and card transactions
- Experience using a POS system (Square experience is a plus)
- Food service experience is a plus, but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Work Environment: Outdoor events, markets, festivals, and pop-up locations throughout the Houston area. Team members should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
