American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience, ARRT and ARDMS certifications, and proficiency in general ultrasound and biopsy procedures.

General ultrasound department in an acute care hospital setting
-
Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Rotating schedule of 36/48 hours per two-week period (alternating weeks of 3x12 and 4x12 hour shifts)

On-call requirement of 2 shifts per week and 2 weekends per month

Procedures include general ultrasound and ultrasound-guided biopsy

GE Logiq ultrasound machine experience required

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience required

Active ARRT and ARDMS certifications required
-
Active Compact or State license in hand required; license required if applicable

Proficiency in general ultrasound and biopsy procedures required

Experience with GE Logiq ultrasound equipment required

Driver's license with permanent address on file required for consideration

2 professional references required: at least 1 Charge-level or higher and 1 supervisor reference, both completed within the last year

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation is scheduled on a bi-weekly basis

Travelers must be willing to accept the 36/48 rotating schedule; inability to do so may result in cancellation
-
Up to 7 days of RTO may be considered; RTO must be declared upfront and no changes will be accepted after submission
-
Travelers are required to work at least one major or one minor holiday per contract
-
After working for one year within the system, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return
-
Travel pairs are accepted on a limited basis; pairs will not be placed on the same shift or unit

Any license hits or background check issues must be disclosed upfront
