Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Facilitate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom space conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is essential.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices and preschool educational frameworks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of child welfare principles and the ability to create supportive learning environments for all students.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
