Duties
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients across various age groups, including geriatric patients and children.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services to stabilize clients during emergencies or acute episodes.
- Deliver addiction counseling and behavioral health support to promote recovery and resilience.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate positive behavioral change.
- Identify community resources such as Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing, child welfare programs, and workforce development services to support client needs.
- Manage case documentation accurately, including progress notes, treatment plans, and incident reports, demonstrating strong writing skills.
- Supervise social work interns or junior staff while mentoring them in best practices for client care and social services delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that address clients’ physical health, mental health, and social needs.
- Work with culturally diverse communities by applying culturally competent approaches and language skills (bilingual preferred).
- Assist clients with navigating social services systems such as childcare support, housing assistance, or disability benefits.

Experience
- Proven experience working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in behavioral health or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis intervention, crisis management, and addiction counseling.
- Strong background in working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, and culturally diverse populations.
- Experience in case management, resource identification within social services systems, and client communication.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, Section 8 housing programs, and child welfare services is highly desirable.
- Prior supervisory experience or mentoring of social work students or junior staff is preferred.
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and report writing are essential.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professional boundaries.
