Summary of Responsibilities: This position will assist with all child nutrition programs, as well as provide general support across all Forgotten Harvest programs.
Duties/Essential Functions:
- Uphold Mission, Vision and Values of Forgotten Harvest
- Attend Forgotten Harvest-hosted annual SFSP and CACFP site trainings
- Complete MDE trainings for SFSP and CACFP
- Conduct MDE/USDA-mandated monitoring of assigned sites to ensure compliance
- Collecting, recording, and compiling daily meal count sheets, as directed
- Compilation of weekly meals count forms and submit to Food Program Specialist (FPS)
- Act as point of contact for assigned SFSP/CACFP sites for assistance in the running of compliant programs
- Assist FPM and FPS with administrative duties which support SFSP/CACFP as needed
- Verification of weekly invoices from food vendor against weekly counts sheets from assigned sites
- Assist with the management of Forgotten Harvest Hub and Spoke model of home delivery at sites throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb Counties
- Assist FPM and FPS with home delivery program
- Conduct Forgotten Harvest monitoring for Forgotten Harvest programs
- Assist with the management of Link 2 Feed submissions/reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have previous customer service experience
- Must have previous experience leading projects
- Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record as determined by FH insurance company, and valid personal auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to drive to multiple locations throughout Wayne, Oakland, Macomb counties
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Proven ability to effectively multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong experience in MS Word and MS Excel
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
- Shifts varying Monday through Friday with potential for occasional weekend work (days and times will vary week to week)
- Must be able to work in all types of environments, including adverse weather conditions, tight parking lots, and heavy traffic
