Job Summary
As a Line Cook at Saguaro, you will play a key role in delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality food service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include food preparation, food assembly, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Whether you're working the grill, assembling sandwiches or engaging with guests, your goal is to provide a great experience that keeps customers coming back.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations.
- Food Preparation: Assemble and cook menu items, including grilled cheeses, charcuterie boards, and sides, following restaurant recipes and quality standards.
- Speed & Efficiency: Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Follow health and safety regulations, maintain a clean workspace, and handle food properly.
- Team Collaboration: Work together with fellow team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Cash Handling: Operate the POS system fulfilling orders and tickets.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or retail is a plus but not required—we’ll train the right person!
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be at least 16 years old (depending on local labor laws).
