Job Title: Warehouse Worker – Inventory & Warehouse Organization
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to maintain an efficient, clean, and well-organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing inventory, optimizing storage space, tracking stock levels, and ensuring products are accurately stored and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in a safe and efficient manner.
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming shipments.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems or spreadsheets.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage space to maximize efficiency.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Keep warehouse aisles, shelves, and work areas clean and organized.
- Move materials and products using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or other warehouse equipment.
- Identify damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory and report issues to management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist with warehouse projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable with strong time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience organizing warehouse storage systems.
- Inventory control and cycle counting experience.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
