As a Supportive Housing Program Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting two Permanent Supportive Housing programs that serve individuals who have experienced homelessness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. You'll help keep both programs running smoothly by providing essential administrative support, coordinating services, and ensuring residents and staff have the resources they need to thrive. Your work will directly contribute to helping individuals find stability, independence, and long-term success.

What You'll Do
As the Program Assistant, you'll help keep our Supportive Housing program running smoothly while ensuring residents and staff receive the support they need. Your work will directly contribute to helping individuals build stable, independent lives.
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with two Program Managers to coordinate day-to-day program operations
- Operating from two separate program locations in Salt Lake City
- Conducting resident intake appointments and completing admission paperwork
- Managing referrals, eligibility verification, and program waitlists
- Coordinating communication with community providers and partner agencies
- Scheduling appointments and meetings for clinical staff
- Assisting residents, providers, and community partners by phone and email
- Preparing reports, maintaining files, updating spreadsheets, and organizing program documentation
- Requesting and tracking required assessments for program compliance
- Supporting care coordination meetings and documenting meeting notes
- Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR confidentiality requirements
- Collaborating with case managers, counselors, peer support specialists, nursing staff, and other team members
- Modeling professionalism, respect, and recovery-oriented values in every interaction
- Assisting with trainings and other administrative projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, English, Social Work, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or homelessness is preferred
