Job Title: Senior Director of Accounting & Finance

Responsibilities
- Lead the Company's accounting and finance functions, including financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, treasury, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and support strategic decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Manage critical accounting processes such as month-end close, accounts receivable/invoicing, accounts payable, sales tax, payroll entries, general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and capital project accounting.
- Develop and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership, coaching, performance management, and oversight to ensure timely and accurate financial activities.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage relationships with tax and property tax consultants to ensure compliance and optimization.
- Oversee cash management, forecasting cash needs, and managing bank relationships.
- Identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis, highlight trends, and develop forecasts in collaboration with leadership.
- Manage annual budget preparation and monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field and CPA required.
- 5+ years of experience in full-service accounting roles, performing responsibilities described above.
- 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, with midstream experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing and developing accounting professionals.
- Experience working with public accounting and/or consulting a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and analytical skills.
- ERP experience, preferably with NetSuite.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and lead initiatives.
- Willingness to travel monthly within Texas and occasionally domestically.
