Cook
to join a prestigious and private members' club located in Washington, DC servicing UHNW clientele. The club offers a refined dining experience to its distinguished membership. This role is integral to the culinary team, with a focus on delivering exceptional food offerings and contributing to an elevated and memorable dining experience.
Position Overview
The
Cook
will be responsible to plan, prep, and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards, recipes, and plating guide specifications. They will maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment, in addition to preparing menu items at assigned station, ensuring food quality that meets the set standards.
Principal (Essential) Duties
Qualifications & Experience

Certification of culinary training or apprenticeship or at least 2 years experience as a cook in a luxury establishment.

Proven cooking experience, including experience in a similar position.

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in job-related English.

Understanding of food and safety and sanitation practices.

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Ability to work varied shift and flexible schedule in a hot, humid, and nosey environment.
