Provides direct patient care under RN supervision
Assists with ADLs: bathing, feeding, dressing, hygiene, positioning, mobility
Monitors and records vital signs (BP, pulse, etc.)
Reports patient status, changes, and concerns to RN
Assists with restorative care, restraints, and patient support devices
Supports unit flow with basic clerical and documentation tasks
Maintains patient safety and comfort across med/surg and stroke units
Works within staffing ratios (typically 1:4–1:5 days)
May float based on staffing needs
Uses EPIC for documentation and Omnicell for medication systems
Coordinates with interdisciplinary teams (pharmacy, phlebotomy, transport, unit secretary)
