We are looking for a REPAIR & MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
We are hiring!! We have an mmediate need for a full-time individual to join our team and provide repair and maintenance (R&M) support for multiple franchise stores. Our stores are mostly located in the San FernandoValley and LA areas with frequent trips to Riverside and Fresno counties. Franchise stores include Round Table Pizza, Subway and YogurtLand, with our main headquarters centrally located in Van Nuys.
JOB SUMMARY: Ensure repairs and maintenance objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Handyman duties: basic electrical, light plumbing repairs, painting, repair/replacement of defective equipment, etc.
- Maintain existing equipment
- Perform all duties with minimal disruption to the franchise operations.
- Keep records of day-to-day maintenance activities and expenses reports (mileage, parking, etc.)
- Comply with all company policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules while carrying out maintenance functions.
- Effectively manage time and meet specified deadlines while completing all tasks as assigned by management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two years of general maintenance experience with an emphasis on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, tile, light carpentry and construction, and knowledge and experience using general repair tools and equipment.
- Must have your own truck, a valid drivers? license, auto insurance, and own your own tools.
- Ability to work a fulltime flexible schedule: days, weekends, and/or evenings.
- Must be willing to travel to Fresno several times per month. (Overnight stays)
- Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish
- The Company provides training on repairs and maintenance of restaurant brand related equipment.
