We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. Your primary focus will be ensuring our manufacturing machinery operates with maximum safety, reliability, and peak efficiency.
Compensation and Schedule
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25 to $30. Candidates must be available to work day, afternoon, or night shifts.
Core Duties

Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks on all facility systems and production hardware.

Identify and resolve issues across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.

Help maintain consistent production output by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and performing rapid, effective repairs.

Service and repair various components including pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and automated systems.

Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics to guide maintenance activities.

Support the team by assisting with the installation, modification, and upgrading of production equipment.

Improve overall equipment reliability by conducting regular inspections to catch potential issues early.

Ensure accurate record-keeping by documenting all completed work orders within the CMMS platform.
Required Qualifications

Possession of a GED or high school diploma, with a preference for those holding technical certifications in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or Electrical Technology.

At least three years of professional experience performing industrial maintenance within a manufacturing setting.

Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting complex hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Practical, hands-on experience in the upkeep and repair of industrial production machinery.

Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues with PLC-controlled hardware.

Solid understanding of industrial automation, sensors, motor controls, and VFDs.
