JOB SUMMARY:
The Business Development Representative works to improve an organization's market position and
achieves financial growth. Defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer
relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals, and maintains
extensive knowledge of current market conditions by performing the following duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be at least 18 years of age.
● High School diploma or GED equivalent.
● Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience within a business development/new business or account
management role with face-to face experience being imperative.
● Experience working in a marketing, agency, or media environment with an understanding
and passion for the industry.
● Must be determined, outgoing, positive, articulate, and diplomatic.
● Must have excellent time management skills.
● Ability to thrive on working autonomously.
● Must have a clear background check
● Must have a completed TB test, CPR/First Aid certification, and health screening.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● Experience within the media, marketing, and communications world.
● Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Responsible for generating leads and efficiently keeping in regular contact with existing
prospects.
● Responsible for presenting to senior decision makers within agencies and media owners.
● Responsible for understanding and keeping up-to-date with constant developments in the
communications industry and agency market.
● Identifies areas for expansion and development.
● Works closely with the marketing department to develop bespoke campaigns to relevant
prospects.
● Inputs into sales and marketing collateral how the business positions itself for various audiences.
● Maximizes networking opportunities and regularly uses conferences, events, and trade
shows to increase awareness and develop a further network of contacts.
● Performs other related duties as assigned as the need arises and per the programmatic needs.
● Communicate with the Clinical Department regarding family updates.
● Answer incoming phone calls and scheduling pre-assessments with the Clinical Department.
● Conduct follow-up surveys with past clients and families.
● Weekly visits at each facility.
● Schedule a minimum of five (5) tours per week for prospective relationships with other facilities
in the industry.
● Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished
in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
● Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business
correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond
to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
● Tracks progress in Monday platform and updates required boards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
