KOMO Machine, Inc. is a subsidiary of the well-known multi-national corporation PMC Global Inc., Sun Valley, CA. KOMO designs and manufactures high quality precision computer numerically controlled (CNC) routers and machining centers. We are seeking a CNC Machinist to become an integral part of our Lakewood, NJ team.
Responsibilities
- Plans machining by studying work orders, drawings, materials
- Takes inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available, anticipated stock
- Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
- Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, and attachments.
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
