Veterinary Receptionist – 2+ Years Experience

Our warm and welcoming veterinary practice in South Pasadena is seeking an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to be the friendly face and voice of our hospital. About the Role
As our Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in creating a positive, organized, and compassionate experience for every pet and pet parent who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients with professionalism and warmth
- Manage phone calls, appointment scheduling, and client communication
- Check clients in and out, process payments, and maintain accurate records
- Support the doctor and team by coordinating daily workflow
- Handle prescription refill requests and relay medical information appropriately
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
- Assist with light administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist or in a veterinary client‑service role
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, calm demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while staying organized
- Comfort with veterinary software AVImark is required
- Reliability, professionalism, and genuine compassion for pets and their people
- A team‑oriented mindset and willingness to help wherever needed
- Veterinary assistant experience is a plus, possiblity of cross-training in this position
