Job Summary
Half-time Director of Faith Devlopment for a progressive congregation on the North Shore. Focus on Sunday morning programs for children and youth, coordinate volunteers and paid teachers for small program.
Duties
- Develop Sunday school program with Minister and lay team, coordinate teachers and leaders.
- Maintain existing partnerships for youth programs (OWL) with local UU congregations.
- Coordinate nursery care.
- Report attendance and other metrics to the board on a quarterly basis.
- Meet weekly with the Minister for planning and mutual counsel on the congregation.
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings.
- Comply with Safe Congregation and other church policies.
Requirements
- Experience working with children and families in non-profit and/or volunteer based setting.
- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills .
- Demonstrated commitment to progressive values and knowledge of Unitarian Universalism.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace and digital communication tools.
Pay: Up to $35,000.00 per year
