Decripition:
- Must be able to work with insects (Black Soldier Flies) at all life stages
- Must possess strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Able to correctly input lab data in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
- Able to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Able to pay close attention to detail and make precise measurements
- Ensures all personal safety equipment is in good condition and maintains proper usage
- Observes and adheres to all safety and security procedures
- Maintains both clean and safe work environments, and ensures all work areas are clean each day
- Able to responsibly mix chemicals for sanitation with the appropriate ratios
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, and have a positive attitude
- Able to work well in both a team-based environment as well as with limited supervision
- Able to read and write English, with excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Be able to work well under pressure and with time constraints
- Able to lift 35 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Possesses strong multitasking and decision making skills
- Must possess reliable transportation
- Must arrive on time and prepared for daily job tasks
- Must be able to perform other duties as assigned
