This on-site position serves either Thomasville Primary or a shared caseload at Liberty Drive Elementary and Thomasville Middle School, ranging from PreK through 12th grade with approximately 35–40 students. The contract runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering a chance to make an impactful difference in students’ communication, academic success, and quality of life.
Ideal candidates are experienced SLP-CCCs with a passion for helping children thrive in educational environments and possess strong collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina NCDPI Speech-Language Pathology License (confirmation required)
- SLP-CCC required; CFs and SLPAs not considered at this time
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Expertise in using ECATS for documentation and compliance (required)
- Familiarity with Infinite Campus for scheduling and reporting
- Experience with school-based caseload management across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy in alignment with student IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and prepare detailed reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and actively collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Provide consultative support and in-classroom strategies to staff as needed
- Use ECATS and Infinite Campus for all reporting, scheduling, and data tracking
- Continuously monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as appropriate
- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and district special education guidelines
