Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager to lead our GC projects from our office in Manhattan and on job site visits. This role is open to a candidate with construction experience and working in a fast-paced setting on multiple projects in a busy small GC office.
Key Responsibilities: Own and lead your own projects from start to finish
- Running a job – full cycle, start to finish
- Ability to communicate effectively in real time, with subcontractors, vendors and clients
- Project Budgeting/Bidding/Customer Proposal
- Project Scheduling
- Maintain and update job Contact Sheet
- Maintaining job folders
- Permitting
- Subcontractor bidding and awarding
- Site logistics
- Quality control
- Lead & own project meetings
- Change management
- Cost management
- Approve invoices weekly/biweekly for payment
- Own project logs and all updates in a timely manner
- RFIs & Submittals for your projects
- Weekly client/project calls and progress reports
- Managing project turnover, phased occupancy, and closeout
- Managing warranty requirements
- Supporting the project’s Superintendent & labor with coordination of work on site, including supply of adequate materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Ordering Materials & Finishes for project
- Out of State Permits & Licensing
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage details.
- A can-do attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with technology and an eagerness to learn new systems.
- Past Laborer/super experience is an important PLUS
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience and are able to run a project independently.
- Experience in Estimating & Bidding is a ++++++++

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
